The incident occurred in Dagestan. The blogger rented his car to a resident of Ingushetia.
The renter turned off the navigation after taking the car and cut off contact.
Hasbulla waited three days before contacting the police and asking for help on social media.
His followers found both the car and the thief within about six hours.
