Maddox, the adopted son of Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, has begun the process of dropping his father's surname.
According to TMZ, Maddox has filed documents to change his name. He wants to remove 'Pitt' and become Maddox Chivan Jolie.
Jolie adopted Maddox from a Cambodian orphanage in 2002 when he was just seven months old. Pitt later adopted him in 2006.
Angelina Jolie has six children: biological Shiloh (13) and twins Knox and Vivienne (11), and adopted Maddox (18), Pax (15), and Zahara (14).
