A California court sentenced Kenneth Iwamasa, Matthew Perry's personal assistant, to 3 years and 5 months in prison.
Oxu.Az reports, citing TASS.
Iwamasa was found guilty of obtaining and administering the drug that caused the actor's death.
The US Department of Justice said the 61-year-old Iwamasa must also pay a $10,000 fine.
Investigation revealed he had been Perry's assistant since 2022 and repeatedly injected him with ketamine. The injection in October 2023 proved fatal.
Iwamasa confessed in August 2024 to participating in a criminal conspiracy to illegally distribute ketamine.
The harshest sentence in the case went to Jasvin Sangha, known as the "Ketamine Queen." She received 15 years for illegal supply of the drug.
Matthew Perry was found dead at his California home on October 28, 2023. He was best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the TV show "Friends."
