Singer Oleg Gazmanov's former concert director Dmitry Tsarenko is accused of embezzling income from the artist's concerts.
According to Oxu.Az citing TASS, this was revealed during a court hearing regarding the singer's administrator.
Dmitry Tsarenko is charged under parts 3 and 4 of Article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code - fraud in large and especially large amounts. A total of 17 episodes have been identified in the case, with damages exceeding 15 million rubles.
At the court hearing, Gazmanov's auditor Olga Dzhavakhadze stated that at the singer's request, the activities of "OMG-promo" company, headed by Tsarenko, were audited.
According to the auditor, discrepancies were found between ticket sales from concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg and Gazmanov's fees. She noted that after Tsarenko was fired, the singer's concert income increased by 40%.
Tsarenko denies the charges and claims he always acted on Gazmanov's instructions. He also filed a counterclaim against the singer, demanding the return of 44 million rubles, calling it "unjust enrichment." The court has not yet accepted the claim for proceedings.
Dmitry Tsarenko served as general director of "OMG-promo" and Gazmanov's concert director from 2010 to 2024. In July 2025, he was sentenced to 4 years in prison in another fraud case against the singer.
