Time magazine has released its 2026 list of the world's 100 most influential philanthropists. The list includes Lionel Messi, pop stars Rihanna and Shakira, actor Idris Elba, and filmmaker Steven Spielberg.

Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina Daur Elba, heads of the Elba Hope Foundation, appear in the "Leaders" section for their vision of a brighter future.

Messi is in the "Pioneers" category for forging a new legacy, while Rihanna is recognized for providing financial aid to natural disaster zones. Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw are also in this category for using creative opportunities in charity.

Shakira, who helps build schools in Colombia, is listed among the "Innovators." The "Titans" of the year are Michael Dell and his wife Susan, who have pledged $6.25 billion to support 25 million future investors in the US.
