In Punjab, India, the body of 29-year-old famous singer Inder Kaur was discovered in a canal five days after she went missing.
According to Daily Star, the artist left home in her Ford Figo car to buy groceries in the evening. She never returned, and her mobile phone was switched off. Relatives began searching and contacted the police.
The body was retrieved from the canal, and her car was found about one kilometer from the scene. The body was sent to a civil hospital for examination.
Local police have launched a murder investigation, also exploring kidnapping and forced marriage theories.
