The Krasnodar Krai Court of Appeals has granted the complaint of Svetlana, the wife of the late singer Yuri Shatunov. The complaint concerned the 2007 decision of the Khostinsky District Court of Sochi, which awarded the rights to the songs of the group "Laskoviy May" to producer Andrey Razin (currently in absentia on fraud charges).
According to TASS, lawyers representing the artist's family stated that the court's decision was immediately enforceable.
Lawyer Oleg Sitnikov said: "The court accepted the evidence of contradictions in Razin's position presented in the appeal. The court supported our claim, stating that the case should have been considered in the order of claim proceedings."
Another lawyer, Asel Mukhtarova-Kazarnovskaya, added that the court found Razin's arguments about handwritten notes allegedly proving authorship to be unfounded.
Recall that on December 4, 2025, the Khostinsky District Court of Sochi reviewed Razin's request to reconsider the copyright case based on newly discovered circumstances.
