A new project to enhance road traffic safety has been launched in Baku.

According to the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), bollards and railings will be manufactured and installed across the capital.

The estimated cost of the project is 1 million 224 thousand manats. It includes the installation of 2,900 bollards and 1,100 linear meters of metal railings.

The bollards will prevent cars from mounting sidewalks, while railings ensure safe pedestrian movement. These measures are expected to improve road infrastructure, strengthen pedestrian safety, and organize traffic more efficiently.
