To date, 27 historical monuments, 5 mosques, and 3 churches have been restored in Shusha.
Oxu.Az reports that Aydin Karimov, special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, announced this during an event at the Azerbaijan pavilion within the framework of WUF13.
He stated that some of the monuments were restored from scratch: "Among them are caravanserais. This work will continue."
This year, conservation work will begin on 15 historical monuments in Shusha. Karimov noted that the process will start soon, and design work for particularly significant monument complexes will be initiated.
