Sohrab Seifzadeh, 57, had not left home for 10 years. Weighing 330 kg, he was moved to hospital in a special operation.
Each of his legs weighs about 50 kg. He used to work as a painter in construction. At 47, he had lymphatic surgery in Turkey, after which his health deteriorated.
His wife has cared for him for 10 years. The couple has no children. She says: "Sohrab is like a child to me."
Treatment is supervised by Dr. Zakir Guliyev, who expects positive changes in his legs soon.
