The 54th graduation ceremony of the Jamshid Nakhchivanski Military Lyceum under the National Defense University (NDU) was held.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, university and lyceum leadership, teachers, cadets, alumni, parents, and media.
Flowers were laid at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev, and the museum was visited. Later, a bust of Nakhchivanski was also honored.
The lyceum's Battle Flag was solemnly brought to the parade ground. A moment of silence was observed for the martyrs, and the National Anthem was played.
NDU Rector Major General Gunduz Abdulov congratulated the graduates and wished them success. Graduates received lyceum badges, and a graduate symbol was struck on a symbolic log.
The Battle Flag was handed over to the next cohort. The ceremony concluded with a march and parade.
