According to her, 70% of women globally experience gender-based violence, pressure, and insults. Online violence silences women.
Ishikawa noted that achieving gender equality will take another 283 years. Women hold only 26% of local government seats.
Azerbaijan is developing a national action plan for gender equality for 2026-2028.
