In the Mammadli settlement of Absheron district, private homes have been flooded due to rising water levels in a nearby lake.

Residents report that for 74 days they have struggled to enter or leave their homes. Despite repeated appeals to relevant authorities, no action has been taken.

Residents shared their grievances with Baku TV.

"The stench makes it impossible to go outside. We can't let our children out, nor can we go out ourselves. We've reached out everywhere, but no one listens. We just want to live in normal conditions," one resident said.

Another resident, who is ill, emphasized that he cannot even visit a doctor: "My health is poor, I need to see a doctor, but I can't leave home because of the sewage. We are in a very bad situation."
