The 9th meeting of the CICA Youth Council, held under the chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), has concluded in Baku. A final recommendation document was adopted.
CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay told journalists that the meeting's theme fully aligns with Azerbaijan's general approaches: "It is about the sustainable development of our societies and cities."
He noted that urbanization issues were also discussed as a continuation of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku. The Council will adopt the next package of recommendations.
Sarybay emphasized: "These recommendations, aimed at strengthening cooperation among youth organizations and harnessing the potential of youth in addressing modern challenges in urban development, are very timely and relevant."
