Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, said that cooperation with the International Sikh Federation will contribute to the protection of ethnic minorities' rights.
He spoke at the international conference "June 1984, Amritsar events: India's transnational repression against ethnic minorities in the context of genocide" held at Baku State University.
Abbasov noted that over the past five months, the BIG has successfully organized two international conferences, and a joint report was presented at the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
