A group of residents who purchased apartments in Mehdiabad settlement, Absheron district, say they are unable to move into their homes.
According to complainants, a five-story residential building was promised, with apartments to be handed over in August 2026. However, with the deadline approaching, only the foundation has been laid.
Oxu.Az reports that this was covered in a video by Baku TV.
Citizen Elnur Aliyev said his family bought three apartments and paid a total of 127,000 manats.
"This land belongs to someone else, but we were sold apartments there. Now the landowner has announced the land is for sale. We don't know who to claim our rights from. Either return our money or give us apartments elsewhere. But they neither return the money nor provide apartments," Aliyev added.
