Residents of Zabrat-1 settlement in Sabunchu district are concerned about street lighting problems.
A complaint was submitted to Oxu.Az hotline stating that street lights on the main road have not been working for several days. Although relevant services partially restored lighting, the most dangerous areas – near the mini-market and the intersection where bus No. 118 turns – remain completely dark at night.
“This area is one of the dangerous bends with heavy traffic. The darkness creates a serious accident risk for both pedestrians and drivers,” the complaint says.
Sabunchu District Executive Power confirmed the issue: “Distributor device No. 2180 on Vidadi Street was damaged. Street lighting will be restored after repairs are completed.”
