Last year, administrative protocols were drawn up against 4,299 debtors who avoided paying alimony in Azerbaijan. This was stated during a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Family, Women and Children's Affairs.
According to the report, 3,083 protocols resulted in administrative penalties imposed by courts. A total of 2,344 individuals were administratively arrested.
In 2025, 286 submissions were made for criminal prosecution. Of these, 235 led to criminal cases, 3 were rejected, and 48 were carried over to the next reporting period.
