In Azerbaijan, certain individuals called to military service will receive an allowance. This is stipulated in the Law on Diplomatic Service.
According to the law, if a diplomatic service employee is dismissed due to being called up for compulsory military or alternative service, they will be paid an allowance equal to three times their average monthly state salary.
Those who apply within 60 calendar days after discharge from military service to reclaim their previous position will be appointed to the same or an equivalent position.
