Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, met with Maimunah Mohd Sharif, former Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).

According to Oxu.Az, Guliyev shared this on his X social network account.

"It was a great pleasure to meet Ms. Maimunah Mohd Sharif again. Her tenure marked a special phase when cooperation between Azerbaijan and UN-Habitat began to form, laying the foundation for future strategic partnership. During our sincere conversation, we recalled the early years of our collaboration. The mutual trust and shared vision established in that period later played a crucial role in paving the way for Baku to host the 13th session of the World Urban Forum," the post noted.
