In March 2026, Azerbaijan's consumer price index rose 5.6% year-on-year.
The Central Bank reported that core inflation stood at 5.5%.
Annual inflation for food, alcohol and tobacco was 6.5%.
The highest price increases were in dairy (10.5%) and fruits (9.7%).
Non-food inflation was 3.7%, while services inflation was 5.7%.
The most expensive services: central heating (50%), metro (20%), air transport (13.6%).
Out of 566 monitored items, 117 increased by over 4%, while 7.1% decreased in price.
Both global and domestic factors influenced inflation.
