Architect Elnur Abdullayev said at the UN Urban Forum that the restoration works in Karabakh represent a synthesis of Eastern and Western styles.
According to him, the increasing density of urban population causes many problems: economic, ecological, energy, and employment challenges are growing.
The UN estimates that by 2050, the urban population share will reach 70%. Abdullayev emphasized that hosting the international forum in Azerbaijan will bring political and economic dividends to the country.
