Deputy Elman Nasirov stated to Oxu.Az that Armenia is facing serious and complex elections.
He noted that these elections are not only a battleground for domestic forces but also a competition arena for foreign geopolitical interests. The EU, US, and Russia are closely interested in the election results.
Sammits held with Western support and visits by US officials indicate support for Pashinyan's government. Russia, on the other hand, is trying to protect its interests.
19 political forces are participating, but only 4-5 have a chance to enter parliament. The main favorite is Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Contract Party.
Rivals include Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia" alliance, Robert Kocharyan's "Armenia" bloc, and Gagik Tsarukyan's party.
The deputy emphasized that Pashinyan's peace image is an advantage. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev warned against the danger of revanchist forces.
