Actor and presenter Azer Aksham discussed the difference between comedy and satire in an interview with Qafqazinfo.
He noted that while people are used to satirical comedies from the Soviet era, modern comedy shows are different. Shows like "Komedikhana" aim solely to entertain.
Aksham mentioned that audiences sometimes seek depth in light genres: "They say, 'That's not your place,' as if I went to a brothel."
He responded to critics: "We just want to make you laugh. Criticize us to make scenes funnier."
