Climate crisis and biodiversity loss require a new system for sustainable urban development.
Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Tagiyeva spoke at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum.
She emphasized that Azerbaijan faces various ecological problems and climate-related threats.
"In many cities, climate change has made ecosystems unsuitable for living. Building resilient infrastructure is crucial," she said.
