Azerbaijan and Iran have approved working regimes for sharing water resources of the Aras River.
According to Oxu.Az, the State Water Resources Agency released a statement.
The agreement was reached during the 55th meeting of the Joint Commission on June 8-11.
The meeting was held in Iran, co-chaired by Zakir Guliyev and Fariba Averidan.
Discussions included water monitoring, quality control, and installation of new gauges.
A final protocol was signed outlining future cooperation.
