Azerbaijani bloggers Vahid Hasanov and Hasti Hasanova were seriously injured in a moped crash in Thailand. Vahid Hasanov underwent surgery.

Azerbaijani bloggers Vahid Hasanov and Hasti Hasanova have been involved in a road accident in Thailand.

According to Oxu.Az, blogger H. Hasanova shared the news on her social media account.

She said that on their last day on the island, she and her husband Vahid Hasanov were riding a moped when the accident happened.

Hasti Hasanova stated that both sustained various injuries. She recalled seeing herself on the ground after the crash, with bystanders rushing to help.

According to the blogger, Vahid Hasanov was taken to hospital in serious condition and underwent emergency surgery. Doctors found fractures in nine of his ribs and his collarbone, as well as a crack in his shoulder area.

"He moves with great difficulty; even standing up and eating is very hard," Hasti Hasanova emphasized in her post.

She also reported suffering various injuries herself and experiencing severe shock after the incident.
