In Baku's Khatai district, 22 houses built on a water collector have been identified. Khatai district prosecutor Sardar Imanov stated that although these houses were built with the permission of the water authority, they are located above a main water line.
Therefore, the 22 houses in the NZS settlement will be demolished, and compensation will be paid to residents. Relocation work is currently underway.
Modern collectors are being installed in the Keshl and NZS settlements to prevent future issues. Some houses were built on illegally seized land, but their gradual legalization is being carried out.
