Preparatory work has been carried out at medical institutions under TABIB due to the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
According to Oxu.Az, TABIB released a statement.
During the event, 4 medical facilities, including the Republican Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Center, will operate in enhanced mode.
The emergency departments, intensive care unit, and operating rooms of "Yeni Klinika" are fully prepared. A modular hospital near Sabunchu Medical Center, the Central Neftchilar Hospital for burns, and the Clinical Medical Center for poisoning have allocated bed funds.
Medical equipment, medications, and supplies are fully provided. Additionally, 75 teams and 35 ambulances have been assigned.
Within WUF13, medical teams will operate 24/7 at hotels and event areas. Reserve vehicles are also allocated.
Staff received basic and advanced life support training. WUF13 employees and volunteers underwent first aid training. The training covered life-threatening assessment, CPR, bleeding control, and trauma care.
