Baku will host the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) from 17-22 May 2026. The event's 'Urban Expo' will bring together over 217 organizations from 66 countries.
The 3.5-hectare expo at Baku Olympic Stadium will feature governments, civil society, academia, and private sector representatives discussing 'Homes for All: Safe and Sustainable Cities'.
Exhibits will cover housing, climate resilience, digital innovation, and inclusive urbanism. Record participation from civil society is expected.
The WUF13 Boulevard, a 2.5-hectare open-air space, is designed for networking and informal discussions, featuring the 'Urban Library', 'Urban Cinema', and 'WUF Academy'.
The expo opens on 17 May, with the official opening on 18 May at 10:00, featuring Anar Guliyev and Anaclaudia Rossbach.
