Within the framework of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), a media tour to Baku's cultural and historical sites was organized for foreign media representatives.
The tour was jointly organized by the Media Development Agency and WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company. Journalists from Italy, China, Russia, India, Kenya, Tunisia, and other countries participated.
The tour began on May 20. Participants first visited the White City project, receiving detailed information about ecological regeneration and modern urbanization.
The route included Karabakh horses square, Sculpture complex, Water pavilion, Fountains square park, and Time square.
Afterwards, guests visited the Heydar Aliyev Center, learning about its unique architecture, exhibitions, and cultural projects.
Then international media representatives explored Icherisheher, a UNESCO World Heritage site, including the Maiden Tower, Shirvanshahs' Palace, and other medieval monuments.
Journalists noted the high level of organization and expressed deep impressions of Baku's blend of history and modern urban planning.
