Work continues on creating pedestrian zones under the State Program for 2025-2030 on improving transport infrastructure in Baku and surrounding areas.
According to Oxu.Az, information was provided in a video by Baku TV.
Under the project, two main pedestrian zones in the capital - Ataturk Park and Antenna Park - are being connected.
Previously, the area was full of obstacles and chaotic parking spots for pedestrians. The goal is to transform it into a comfortable and safe urban environment.
Baku residents and guests can now move seamlessly from Ataturk Park to Antenna Park and then to Dada Gorgud Park.
The entrance of Ataturk Park will feature a green zone, seating, a children's playground, and other infrastructure. Convenient pedestrian links between public transport and commercial facilities will also be ensured.
