A group of entrepreneurs in Baku claim to have been defrauded. Their complaint targets a man named Elchin Rzayev.
Vasili Huseynov says he bought a Li-9 car for $58,000 from Rzayev and they became friends. Rzayev allegedly claimed to be a relative of a deputy minister.
Huseynov claims Rzayev agreed to sell him a Maybach, took $10,000, but never delivered the car. Later, Rzayev allegedly sold Huseynov's Ford Mustang for $18,000 instead of the agreed $35,000.
Another complainant, Emin Meliksoy, says he rented a Hummer from Rzayev and later agreed to buy it. He paid for four months but never got the car.
Meliksoy claims Rzayev involved him in a luxury taxi business, then took more money. He says he lost a total of 94,000 manats.
Elchin Rzayev denies the accusations. He says Meliksoy owes him money and that Huseynov damaged his Maybach.
