Baku is hosting the 28th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors and Business Forum of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), chaired by Azerbaijan.
The meeting will review the bank's performance, approve 2025 financial statements, and discuss future directions and institutional development.
The Business Forum, themed "Connecting Markets, Diversifying Economies: Azerbaijan as a Regional Hub," will feature discussions on Azerbaijan's economic priorities, regional cooperation, and BSTDB projects.
Topics include enhancing regional connectivity, sustainable financing mechanisms, and Azerbaijan's role as a key economic and transport hub between Europe and Asia. B2B meetings are also planned.
BSTDB is a multilateral development bank established by 11 member countries. Its headquarters is in Thessaloniki, Greece. The bank promotes sustainable economic development and regional cooperation through project financing, loans, credit lines, investments, guarantees, and trade finance.
