A road collapse occurred in Baku. Residents say if someone falls into it at night, it could be a tragedy.
According to Oxu.Az citing Khazar TV, the incident took place in Khatai district, Kand Akhmedli settlement, on Elshan Suleymanov Street.
The area is now cordoned off with tape. Residents reported that a section of the road suddenly collapsed after a car passed. It was stated that after heavy rains, the asphalt surface collapsed in many parts of the street.
When the problem will be resolved exactly remains unclear, as no official statement was obtained from the United Water Supply Service of Large Cities. Residents hope the situation will be resolved quickly without causing more serious consequences.
