Baku-Tbilisi-Baku: New train service starts

Travel from Baku to Tbilisi on a Stadler train with sleeping cars and restaurant. Capacity over 200 passengers. Service starts May 26.

Passenger services on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku route will be operated by a modern train produced by the Swiss company "Stadler Rail Group".

According to Oxu.Az, the train features comfortable sleeping carriages and a restaurant. It can carry over 200 passengers per direction.

President Ilham Aliyev inspected this train in 2019.

The new passenger service will commence on May 26.
