Passengers traveling on the Baku-Tbilisi train must present several documents along with their ticket at boarding.
According to Oxu.Az, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) released a statement.
It was reported that the original passport is required, and a digital version obtained from the "Mygov" platform is not considered valid.
Additionally, travel insurance compliant with Georgian requirements is mandatory.
It was noted that for children under 5, a free ticket issued in their name must be presented. Children traveling with one parent require a notarized power of attorney from the other parent, while children traveling without parents with another adult require separate notarized powers of attorney from both parents.
ADY recommends passengers bring the mentioned documents for smooth and quick boarding.
The statement also emphasized that the Baku-Tbilisi train will depart on its maiden voyage today at 23:10.
