Getting tickets for the Baku-Tbilisi train is becoming increasingly difficult. Passengers cannot find tickets at ticket offices, on the mobile app, or on the official website. What is the reason?

Azər Fərcov, head of the Passenger Transport Department at Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), told Oxu.Az that all sales channels are connected to the same system and tickets are released simultaneously. High demand causes tickets to sell out quickly.

Fərcov noted that ADY does not cooperate with any travel agencies and does not allocate quotas. There is no evidence of mass ticket buying for resale. Each passenger can buy tickets for up to 4 people per trip.
