The Baku-Tbilisi-Baku passenger train, resuming service after six years, will start regular operations on May 26.
Modern trains with sleeping cars owned by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC will begin transportation from that date.
Comfort class compartments are four-berth and each has a TV.
For the first time on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku passenger train, comfort and comfort+ cars have shared showers, while luxury cars have separate shower cabins and sanitary units for each compartment.
Compartments are equipped with individually adjustable temperature and lighting systems, a call button for the attendant, and sound insulation. There is also a card-operated safe for personal belongings, electrical outlets, internet, a TV monitor with content in four languages, a remote control, and headphone jacks.
Recall that according to a preliminary agreement between Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and Georgian Railways JSC, trains will depart from Baku daily at 23:10 and arrive in Tbilisi the next day at 08:41, while from Tbilisi they will depart at 21:00 and arrive in Baku the next day at 06:24.
