Baku is launching a project to clean three lakes from waste. According to Gunel Gulieva, a ministry official, the initiative involves the World Bank.
Lakes Boyukshor, Zikh, and Khojahasan will be cleaned under the grant project. The goal is to promote green economy and improve public services.
The project, which started in 2025, will introduce new technologies. This will improve Baku's ecological situation.
