Centralized sewerage systems will be established in 64 residential areas of Baku. Additionally, new collectors will be built on 30 main streets and avenues to manage stormwater.
Ilham Bayramov, Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, stated in an interview with APA that under the state program, water sources will be optimized. As a result, water supply in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will increase by 8.2 cubic meters per second.
The plan aims to achieve 100% metering and reduce water losses to 20%.
