A water supply problem in some areas of Baku has caused discontent among residents.
A complaint was submitted to Oxu.Az's hotline reporting that at 36 Rizvan Teymurov Street, Nizami district, drinking water has not been supplied for two days.
Residents say the disruption in water supply has caused serious difficulties in daily household chores and demand a quick resolution.
In response to Oxu.Az, the United Water Supply Service of Large Cities stated that the interruptions are due to adjustment works.
“Technical works are ongoing to increase the amount of water received in reservoirs and the productivity of water treatment plants. Therefore, the volume of supplied water has been temporarily reduced. As a result, there are 2-3 hour reductions in water supply hours in various districts. The adjustment works are nearing completion. It will be possible to stabilize water supply within two days,” the statement said.
