Balakishi Gasimov, the director of Public Television (ITV), highlighted Baku TV as an example on REAL TV. He noted that Azerbaijani channels are active on YouTube but do not produce separate content for the platform.
Gasimov emphasized the need to understand youth interests and behavior to create relevant content, as a response to challenges posed by social networks.
Rovshan Mammadov, chairman of AzTV, stated that ITV's content garners millions of views, ranging from two to ten million. He affirmed that classical media in Azerbaijan is active on social networks.
Gasimov added that all Azerbaijani channels are active on YouTube with millions of views, with Baku TV leading. However, the strategic difference is that they produce content for traditional television and mirror it on YouTube.
