At the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Burkina Faso delegate Bachou Bado made a statement.
He praised the organization of the event: "The movement is well organized, the venue is attractive and well set up. Everything is at a very high level."
Bado spoke about the suffering of African countries under colonialism: "The exploiters destroyed our culture and forced their own upon us. As a result, we are neither fully them nor ourselves. They plundered all our resources. Therefore, we have great anger towards them."
