A business hotel and recreation complex is planned to be built in Kalbajar district.
Oxu.Az reports that this was stated by Bashir Hajiyev, special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kalbajar district, at an event titled 'The path from urbicide to post-conflict reconstruction' held in the Azerbaijan pavilion within the framework of WUF13.
The complex is planned to be constructed on an area of 34 hectares. It will include a hotel, restaurant, cafe, warehouse and administrative buildings, a multifunctional event hall, entertainment areas, as well as open and closed swimming pools.
The hotel building, which will have 145 rooms, will be able to accommodate hundreds of guests at the same time.
The establishment of main activity directions in non-residential areas aims to revitalize the economy, create new jobs, meet the basic needs of the population, and further improve infrastructure and social services.
In the initial stage, the construction of a hotel building, as well as residential and non-residential multi-apartment complexes in Kalbajar is planned with private investments.
The large-scale restoration and construction projects implemented in Kalbajar city and other liberated areas are important steps towards restoring the region's infrastructure, as well as ensuring the social welfare and sustainable development of the population.
The implemented projects, attraction of investments and development of tourism will lay the foundation for a new life in the Karabakh region.
