Green energy projects are expanding in Azerbaijan. Can ordinary citizens install solar panels at home? Deputy Sadiq Gurbanov explained.

The committee chairman stated that according to legislation, anyone can install solar panels on their private house. Excess electricity can be sold to the state grid.

No license is required for capacities up to 150 kW. An average home needs 3-10 kW.

Tax benefits are available. Prices vary depending on system capacity.

The deputy recommended using LED lamps for energy efficiency.
