Baku residents have filed complaints against "Sundeer Cars" LLC. The citizens claim that cars purchased on credit were taken from them after some time.
According to Oxu.Az, this was reported in APA TV's video material.
According to the complainants, they made down payments and monthly installments to obtain the vehicles. However, it later turned out that the cars were not owned by the company but were leased. Consequently, the vehicles were seized. Victims say they lost both their cars and the money they paid.
"At around 2 AM, three people stormed my house and demanded the car I bought on credit," one victim said.
The company is currently inactive, and the numbers citizens used to contact it are unreachable.
Based on appeals to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, investigations were conducted. It was determined that a group of individuals deceived citizens and obtained money by promising to sell cars through credit.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Surakhani District Police Department, and investigative actions continue.
Lawyer Ramil Suleymanov advised citizens to carefully read contracts and check vehicle ownership and contract terms (credit, lease, etc.) when taking car loans. He emphasized the importance of verifying if the contract is registered in the state system. Defrauded citizens should go to court to restore their rights.
