A Baku citizen, Orkhan Jalilov, has filed a complaint against a car sales company. He purchased a 2011 Hyundai Genesis on credit, but problems appeared the next day.
Jalilov says: "I paid 2,800 manat as a down payment. They assured me the car had no issues. When I wanted to show it to a mechanic, they said don't worry, you can return it within 10 days. The mechanic said repairs would cost as much as the car."
When he tried to return the car, the company demanded a 300 manat service fee. The company denies the allegations, claiming Jalilov has psychological issues.
Lawyer Mirjavid Miriyev notes that the contract is incomplete, placing all responsibility on the buyer. Police investigation is ongoing.
