On the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder of IDEA Public Union, a festive event titled "The Future Belongs to Children" was held at Baku Zoo to mark June 1 - International Children's Day.
More than 250 children from orphanages, development centers, and kindergartens participated in the celebration supported by Baku Improvement Service.
The program included competitions, games, magicians' performances, and cartoon characters, sparking great interest among the kids.
Children engaged in creative workshops such as drawing, decorating eco-bags, and painting plaster figures.
Environmental education featured animations and presentations about animal life. During an open-air tour, children observed animals and learned about their habitats.
IDEA Animal Care Center organized a caretaking corner, emphasizing the importance of caring for stray animals.
The holiday left joyful memories for all attendees.
