The Azerbaijani Appraisers Chamber (AAC) has released construction indices for April 2026.

According to the report, construction costs increased by 6.8% compared to December 2025, with the index at 106.8 points. The highest increases were recorded in metal products, concrete, cement, and interior finishing materials.

The sub-index for construction materials reached 107.5, labor 105.4, and machinery 103.8. Prices rose for rebar, concrete, laminate, parquet, plastic windows, and sandwich panels. Reasons include rising import costs, logistics expenses, and sustained demand.

The metal products index hit 111.5, concrete and cement 108.4, interior finishing materials 107.2, door and window systems 106, wood materials 105.8, and roofing 104.9.

Labor costs also increased: facade works 108.5, tiling 107, masonry 105.2, plastering 104.8, laminate and parquet 103.9.

In the machinery segment, growth was limited: excavator 104.2, concrete pump 103.8, crane 103.5.

The AAC states that the price surge continues to raise the cost of new buildings and affects real estate prices. Further increases are expected in the coming months.
